Resident Spotlight

Eleanor “Faye” Bryant was born in July 1945 to Marvin and Florence Dewberry in Moultrie, Georgia. She had one brother, Larry.

Faye lived out her dream by marrying her husband of 56 years, Charles, after graduating high school and starting a family. Charles worked as a farmer, and the family grew to include one son, Barry, and three daughters, Belinda, Melanie and Addie.

Faye thrived as a homemaker, enjoying cooking, baking, sewing and gardening, and her greatest accomplishment is raising her children. She now also enjoys her seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Faye also worked in School Nutrition, having served as a Lunch Room Lady. She loved getting good food into the bellies of all those children.

Today, Faye can be found scrapbooking, reading or playing bingo or card games with other residents. She loves meeting new people and thoroughly enjoys making new friends at Legacy Village at Park Regency, where she has been a resident since February 2022. She also enjoys going on Legacy’s outings, including going out to eat and going on country rides.

After the busy holiday season, many seniors notice changes in energy levels, mobility or comfort, making the New Year a natural time for families to pause and consider what support will help their loved ones feel their best.
