On October 14th, Legacy Senior Living, the management company of Legacy Village at Park Regency, made a special stop on the "Thank You Tour" to celebrate its team members, residents, and family members who have chosen to be a part of the Legacy Village at Park Regency family. This year’s Thank You Tour also coincided with Legacy Senior Living’s 20-year anniversary, making it a special event for everyone involved.

Legacy Senior Living was originally formed on October 1, 2006, when co-founders Barry Ray and Bryan Cook assumed management of Renaissance Marquis in Rome, Georgia, and purchased Southern Care Senior Living in Tifton, Georgia—which we know today as Legacy Village of Tifton. Over two decades, Legacy has expanded to serve thousands of residents across the Eastern United States with independent living, assisted living, and memory care services.

The foundation of Legacy Senior Living rests on the mission "to serve seniors with honor, respect, faith, and integrity," and is guided by the scripture Matthew 5:41: "If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two." This focus on going above and beyond daily responsibilities has fostered a culture where seniors and their families feel genuinely supported and loved.

Throughout the Thank You Tour, Legacy Senior Living’s leadership team, including COO, Blake Ray, visited each of their communities to personally say ‘thank you’ for choosing Legacy Village. The second stop on this year’s Thank You Tour was Legacy Village at Park Regency. During the event, Legacy leadership recognized each resident and team member by name, highlighting their time spent at Legacy Village so far.

As part of the festivities and in honor of Legacy Senior Living celebrating 20 years of service this year, they awarded the community $2,000 for an in-house celebration, honoring the team members who have contributed to making the 20 years of Legacy possible.

Navigating a memory loss diagnosis like Alzheimer’s or dementia brings significant emotional change for families. Above all else, finding the right environment for a loved one means seeking a place where safety, comfort, dignity, and purposeful living intersect.
